Let’s Play Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 : Intro

Welcome to my newest let’s play,Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2! This is merely the intro showing all of the skaters in the game.All the old skaters from THPS1 are still here and they even added in some new skaters like Steve Caballero,Eric Koston and Rodney Mullen. Going from THPS1 to THPS2 they added in a bunch of features and tweaked numerous things.I’ll touch on most of the stuff they changed in the next part. Some things I forgot to mention.They added in Create Skater which let’s you make your own skateboarder to mess around with, there is now Park Editor which let’s you create your dream skate park.They also added in more modes to mess around with in 2 player.Create Skater is a little limited as to what you can do but it’s still a good new feature.Park Editor is pretty cool so I can’t really say anything bad about it. Multiplayer is always fun so adding more modes is a nice way to keep things fresh. I must say this game is probably my second favorite in the Tony Hawk series.More music,better gameplay and just an overall better game when compared to the original Tony Hawk game. If I can get my favorite TH game to work on here with minimum lag I may just do that too and have an LP trilogy thing xD. Enjoy and stay tuned :D

    Ah I see.

    @QWERTYCommander Well for PSX,the game lagged a fair amount when recording. Not sure if it was because this computer just blows or because I didn’t have enough space cleared out. Otherwise I may have done it. Dc version would not have worked, I use NullDC and for some reason fraps can’t record from NullDC. Another issue with NullDC is that the version I had I was only able to use a keyboard, sure the newer versions allow the use of controllers but I believe there is input lag.

  7. QWERTYCommander says:

    Why didn’t you play the PSX version? Or the DC version?

  8. QWERTYCommander says:

    @TheBigClaw

    Basically the Tony Hawk trilogy are the only games that did that.

  9. TheBigClaw says:

    How obvious has the song been butchered and the fact that the FMV’s from the PS and DC versions of the game were ditched all in the name of fitting it all on the N64 cart. I’ll have to research more multi-platform titles on the N64 that got butchered so they could fit it on the carts LOL.

    @Exclamation Oh,they’re totally the same game couldn’t you tell?

    JSRF’s title screen theme was Guerrilla Radio and Beat wore clothes just like Tony Hawk. The levels like really similar too,JSRF totally copied this game xD.

  12. Exclamation says:

    Hey, did you know that this and JSRF are like the same game?

    Cause I didn’t!!
