Is the skateboard for Tony hawk ride a replacement for the regular wii balance board?

I play shaun white snowboarding alot and was wondering if i could replace the balance board for a better alternative. Thanks (:

   No – it’s an entirely different peripheral, and is incompatible with Ballance Board games.

   Also, the game that comes with the board (Tony Hawk RIDE) is among the all-time worst in gaming history. A flop of legendary proportions.
