i cant get my tony hawk ps2 game to play on ps3?

i play other ps2 games on my ps3 but when i start first objective on tont hawk it freezes up! none of my other games freeze. ive tried to seperate games! is there something i need to do to formar my ps3 so i can play it?

   i would say it a problem with the disc it self since every other game plays fine.

   I would say there is a problem with the disc since you say all of the other games work perfectly fine.

   maybe the disc can´t be read anymore because is really damaged
