How do you unlock the cheat menu in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 for the Playstation 1?

I keep seeing these cheat codes on cheat websites, and it says to go to the options menu and then Cheats, but Cheats is not selectable! I need to know how to unlock the cheats menu. Thank you.

   I don’t think you have Pro Skater 3. First, it’s not for the PS1; it’s for the PS2. Second, there is a cheats menu in Pro Skater 3 (it’s in options). Here’s how to use cheats in Pro Skater 2 (I believe you have this one; correct me if I’m wrong).
