How do you break through ice on Shaun White Snowboarding, please help!!!!!?

i need to know to move on in the game, if you dont know ask someonee, pleaseeee

   It’s very hard to turn on ice on that game even if you have a board with 5 star edging. If you want better control on it, I suggest using a board with the highest possible edging you can afford although it is still going to be hard (it’s just how they made the game). Good luck.

   you have to get the first 12 coins, there’s 3 on your radar in each destination. then you find shaun’s hideout, and he teaches you how to use focus. after that, you tap X and press A when you run into the ice, but you have to be going fast enough.
