Does Shaun White travel with the World Cup Snowboarding Freestyle circuit?

Theyre coming to Whiteface in January so i wanted to know if its worth the trip out there…major fan of his and want to meet him, but i can barely find any answers on here.

    I would be surprised if he did. This tour seems to be overseen by the FIS, which oversees international Skiing (and Olympic Snowboarding), but is not generally well regarded by snowboarders. Since it’s not an Olympic Qualifying (which is done by the Chevy Grand Prix series anyway) I doubt he’d be at these events. Most Pros who compete do so in the Swatch TTR (Ticket to Ride) Tour, which is a collection of weighted events around the world. Each event is weighted 1 to 6 stars, so winning a 6 start event like the US Open counts more than winning a lower weighted event. The Mountain Dew Action Sports Tour is starting a winter series this year too, but I don’t know if those events count for the TTR or if he’s competing in them or not. He used to be sponsored by Dew, but now he’s with Red Bull.
