I don’t get the whole bagpipes thing, but I really like the soccer chants and jumping out of trees into ramps thing. John Rattray is from some university town in Scotland, and on paper is the smartest guy so far on the show (I think Jerry Hsu might be smarter in real life though, sothere might have to be a quiz show episode in the future to settle this). Anyway, so far I haven’t met a Scotsman I didn’t like. This episode we also meet Stu Graham, he’s kind of the opposite of John. I asked them what they’d be doing if it wasn’t for skateboarding, John said he’d be working on an oil rig as an engineer for an oil company. Stu would be in prison for stealing TV’s. Thank god for skateboarding I suppose.

haha you guys are arguing over countries and shit. Dude he’s from Scotland, im from Scotland im just proud to have some talent coming from somewhere near me. Calling him british is right but i like to think of him as Scottish because it means i have something to be extra proud about. Im not bothered bout the hate between scotland and our associations with the rest of the UK in the slightest, all i care about is that he is so good on a board.

i was born in england, raised in germany all my life till 4 years ago when i moved to utah then two years later moved to vegas, you gots look for the good in people americans are’nt all assholes and racist pricks i’ve met some friends that have truely changed my perspective on life. who got me into skateboarding? an amazing american friend and that’s by far the best present i didn’t even ask for.
